I won't harp about how great I am, because I am not. I am human just like you. I live in middle earth New Zealand.

I started my business journey in 2006 and failed in 3 business ventures that my best friend and I tried to start. Honestly we had no focus nor did we know what we were trying to accomplish. Having day jobs was our comfort zone. Our families were upset for wasting so many $$$.

Our friends had bought their homes, were enjoying vacations and living the rich life. Both of us on the other hand had started an addiction to working and unconsciously we thought that by just putting in the hours probably something will work. Every penny we made in our day jobs we poured into the next big shiny business idea. Nothing would work.

In 2016 in chaos I found what my calling. I helped a software engineer who had hit rock bottom find his passion and find an awesome job. The satisfaction to see him smile was what made me recognise my gift.

With that spark of what it felt I decided to take the most uncomfortable decision and start a Tech Recruitment Service, my friend too decided to explore his passion. Though I had no sales, marketing or recruitment experience I knew right from the start that I will pull it off. There was a sense of confidence. I can tell you the competition is ruthless in the recruitment space, there are bigger players with bigger resources and connections. As a one man army you are treated like a commodity business and New Zealand is a small country.

Inspite of fierce competition, in a crowded market with no industry experience in 6 months I gained traction. I was able to make the same 6 figure income I was earning in my consulting career. I was able to keep the business profitable from Year 1. 

My best friend too was able for the first time to gain traction in sales for his software development work. Something was working. It was as though we had rubbed Aladdin's Lamp.

How did our reality shift?

We took a lean approach. Instead of focusing on KPI's and $$$, we focused on something you cannot put a price on, which is HOW TO SERVE.

We implemented the principles that great minds such as Galileo, Archimedes, Sir Isaac Newton, Aristotle, Pythagoras, Einstein, Bruce Lee, Sun Tzu, The Sages, Shaolin Monks implemented. They spoke about the power of universal laws and energy frequencies.


These minds have created breakthroughs in history at a time when it was not easy, when there was no internet and where pitching a new way of looking at life was not the norm. 

Their had created their own reality and brought about change by following these principles. 

In hindsight I am grateful that we stumbled upon their writings, letters, manuscripts that documented their approach. Anyone can source these writings from public libraries around the world.


The only purpose of starting Living An Amazing Life as a mission was to share their principles. I call the program ReIgnite. Nothing I cover is orginal or ground breaking just simple strategies that they followed. All I have done is distill how we took their approach and implemented it in an era where there is so much distraction, competition and noise. 


My aim is to see another solopreneur, small business owner smile, to feel confident and to shift their reality. I believe that there are people like me who are putting in the work, feeling stuck, and secretly believe that one day they will have a thriving business. I hope to reignite that spark in them to Live An Amazing Life.
